Perfectly imperfect, just like us.

These are made with layers and layers of used and vintage saris. Each is abundantly unique, made with different patterns, fabrics and stitching. Some have signature patches, or whimsical embroidery, a random hole or an unfinished edge, some have none of these things. Each side is completely different from the other. You may fall in love with one side, only to be disappointed with the other, or you may fall in love with one side and then fall even more deeply in love with the other side. They are perfect for a change in time, season or mood.

Perfectly imperfect. If you are a person who needs order and straight lines, these are not for you. If a random patch of green in a sea of pink will drive you nuts, these are not for you. If a lose thread will make your blood pressure rise, these are not for you. If you find yourself a dreamer, if you like to be wrapped in something crafted by hands on the other side of the world, if you like art that is meant to be used. THESE ARE FOR YOU!

In 2020 right before Covid hit, i had an amazing opportunity to travel to India with my brother. We traveled through all of the markets of Jodhpur, Jailsamer, Jaipur and Udaipur. We traveled by night trains and spend our days immersed in our senses. i became obsessed with these quilts. i saw woman wrapped up in them everywhere, at the train station while taking a nap, hiding from the early morning fog, in the desert, walking the market, on the night train protecting themselves from the cool air streaming in thru the open windows.

i just absolutely fell in love with them & i know you will too.
